Active X SDK Module

The Axxess ID ActiveX is an easy to use quick and powerful way to interface with the server for controlled and full two way data exchange on most transactions, database fields and readings.

The ActiveX software module requires the CMAX console server software to run, which collects all the data from the controllers and takes the complexity out of the integration. Sample source code is provided in VB6 enabling the reading of transactions and opening a door in hours. The ActiveX can be used with multiple development tools eg VB6, .Net. Other non-Microsoft tools can be used however we are unable to support compatibility issues.

Typical applications include full integration to building management systems, third party applications eg membership systems, security management systems and data exchange with large corporate databases requiring two way data of transactions, alarms, commands eg opening doors, changing modes and database field updates in real-time.

The comprehensive manual and source code samples also include a sample application. Backward and forward compatibility is achieved by simply ignoring new and unknown data strings.



Application training is recommended before implementation to understand all the system features and a selection of future planned program features. The application training can be combined with a one hour walk-through training with one of our developers enabling basic functioning communication to your application.
