WEEE Compliance Statement

The European Union's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive was implemented in EU member states during 2006.

There are a number of obligations imposed on Axxess Identification as a “Producer” of certain qualifying electrical and electronic equipment.

Axxess ID supplies products Business to Business

Axxess ID’s compliance for each of these obligations is provided below.

WEEE Marking

All qualifying products that are subject to the WEEE Directive and supplied by Axxess ID since 13th August 2005 are compliant with the WEEE marking requirements. 

Such products are marked with the "crossed out wheelie bin" WEEE symbol shown above and in accordance with European Standard EN 50419.

Information

The WEEE symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that the product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. Instead such marked waste equipment must be disposed of by arranging to return to a designated collection point for the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment. By separating and recycling this waste equipment at the time of disposal will help to conserve natural resources and ensure that the equipment is recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment. 

Axxess ID offer our customers the opportunity to return products at the end of their functional lives to Axxess ID for recycling, qualifying products are marked with the WEEE symbol shown above. Delivery cost of any authorised product returned to Axxess ID will be at the expense of the sender. Normal product return policy will be applied in the form of an RMA Number without which product will not be accepted.
